Real Thread is currently seeking a new Production Manager!

Our Production team forms the core of our operation and as the Production Manager, you will oversee the entire pre-production process and press team.

It’s fast-paced, hard work, and a lot of fun; but it isn’t for everyone. If you have experience in the screen-printing environment, a strong work ethic and a passion for quality, then this just might be the job for you!

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-production and press team members
• Oversee all print jobs - Identifying the process, documentation needed and work assignments
• Align the day-to-day work of the printing team with production benchmarks
• Monitor and maintain the quality of all incoming orders
• Oversee process improvement and cost-efficiency for pre-production and printing teams, including research on new equipment & techniques
• Liaising with Customer Success Team to discuss time or process setbacks
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance
• Planning and execution of training for print team and pre-production team
• Maintain inventory management to ensure teams have supplies needed
• Maintain and enhance quality, safety, and client & team satisfaction

What We Need From You (Our Requirements): 

• You know the screen printing business because you’ve lived it and you loved it
• You’re a leader who enjoys collaboration in a production environment
• You are able to work effectively in an open warehouse
• A clean, safe, and efficient workplace is important to you
• You are organized and treat your equipment and tools with respect
• Mechanical stuff excites you, especially if you get to troubleshoot it 
• You understand the printing and operation of M&R style machines
