Real Thread is currently seeking a new Logistics Assistant to join our Production team!

The Logistics Assistant is part of the core operation of all things inbound and outbound at Real Thread. This position will work alongside the Shipping & Receiving Specialists to help manage incoming inventory and outbound orders while recording properly in our system. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading dock
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Update Salesforce as products are received and added to our inventory
• Determine proper storage methods for deliveries, identification, and stock location
• Stage products in accordance with the production schedule
• Occasionally handling returns of mis-shipped or damaged merchandise
• Assist Quality Control team as necessary to catch, stack and sort printed products.

Ideal Candidate

• Must be able to stand for all or most of a regular work shift as well as reach, bend, and stoop
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Must demonstrate high level of eye / hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Capable of retaining techniques/skills taught and applying those skills to the job, to assure consistency, quality and limited delays in servicing customers and staff
• Previous experience in a production environment is preferred
• Any experience in a screen printing production facility is a plus!
